A model program for real people

You do not need a “model look” to be a model.

Here, being a model means helping students learn through supervised, hands-on experience.

We welcome inquiries across genders, races, body sizes and adult age groups. No special appearance, fitness level or previous modeling experience is needed.

The clinical team considers your skin and hair, the treatment area, relevant history and the available device. Feeling welcome and being suitable for a particular treatment are both part of the conversation.

The model program

What is a laser hair removal model?

A model receives a student training treatment at GCI’s model rate. You help students gain hands-on experience under qualified professional supervision. This is not a fashion-model job.

Do I need to be attractive, slim or experienced in modeling?

No. There is no beauty, fitness or modeling-experience requirement. We welcome people of all genders, races, body sizes and adult age groups. Individual clinical screening still determines whether a treatment is suitable.

Are men and gender-diverse people welcome?

Yes. Tell the team your preferred treatment areas and any comfort or privacy needs. Eligibility is assessed individually.

Can older adults or plus-size people inquire?

Yes. Age or body size alone does not determine suitability. The team discusses your goals, positioning, comfort, skin and hair, and the available equipment during consultation.

Must I be a GCI student or live in Grand Prairie?

You do not need to be a GCI student. The program serves Grand Prairie and the surrounding DFW community. You must be able to attend a confirmed in-person student training session.

Who performs and supervises treatment?

Students perform model treatments under appropriate qualified professional supervision. Before starting, the team identifies the operator, supervisor and treating facility, and explains their roles.

Why is model pricing lower than med-spa pricing?

These rates support supervised student training during designated sessions. They are GCI model-program prices, separate from Axora’s staff-performed services and retail pricing.

Am I paid to be a model?

This is a discounted treatment opportunity, not a paid modeling position. You pay the agreed model-session rate. The photography waiver explains that no separate payment is made for approved image use.

Prices and treatment areas

What are the model prices?

Upper lip OR chin $20; underarms $35; bikini line $40; Brazilian $60; half legs $60; full legs $85; underarms + Brazilian $80; customized full-body model session starting at $125. Listed-area pricing is confirmed before treatment and cannot be combined with other offers.

Does $20 include both the upper lip and chin?

The advertised $20 special is for upper lip OR chin. If you want both, ask the team to confirm a combined price before booking; do not assume both are included.

Is the underarms + Brazilian offer $80 total?

The listed combination is $80 for the agreed underarm and Brazilian areas in a model session, subject to screening and availability. The team confirms boundaries and the total before treatment.

What does full-body starting at $125 include?

It is a customized selection of eligible areas agreed in advance, not an automatic promise to treat every area. Included areas, duration and final price depend on your plan and the training session.

What is the difference between bikini line and Brazilian?

They describe different treatment boundaries. Discuss the exact areas you want with the team privately; staff will explain what each option includes before you agree. Do not send intimate photographs in messages.

Can I request an area that is not listed?

Ask the team to review availability, suitability, treatment boundaries and a price. Unlisted areas and prices are not confirmed by the advertised specials.

Are these package prices or prices for one session?

The advertised offers are model-session rates, not a promised multi-session package. Ask staff to confirm the number of sessions, total costs and any separate terms before paying.

Are consultation fees, deposits, taxes or other charges required?

Ask staff to confirm the complete amount, any consultation charge, deposit, applicable tax and payment methods before booking. This page does not establish additional fees or collect payment.

Do you have refunds, payment plans or cancellation fees?

Staff must explain the model program’s applicable payment, refund, cancellation and rescheduling terms before booking. Student-course policies should not be assumed to apply to model appointments.

Can I use these rates at Axora or in Forney?

These are GCI student-model offers in Grand Prairie. They do not apply to Axora’s trained-staff services or automatically apply at another location.

Requesting and attending a session

How do I request a model appointment?

Use the model request form below with your name, email, optional phone and preferred area. GCI follows up about screening and available training sessions. The request does not reserve a spot or authorize treatment.

Can I book by sending SMOOTH on Facebook or Instagram?

Yes—message SMOOTH to receive program information and the request-page link. Automated messages provide guidance; staff confirm your eligibility, treatment plan and appointment separately.

Does submitting the form confirm my appointment?

No. Wait for direct confirmation of the date, time, treating location, areas, total price and preparation instructions. Form submission and consent alone do not guarantee a session.

Where is GCI located?

GCI’s listed address is 2455 Robinson Rd., Suite 100, Grand Prairie, TX 75051. The team confirms the exact treatment location and arrival instructions with your appointment.

Do you offer evenings, weekends, walk-ins or same-day sessions?

Availability follows designated student training sessions. Ask staff for current openings. Do not travel without a confirmed appointment; this page does not promise walk-ins or same-day service.

How long will the appointment take?

Time depends on the selected areas, screening and student instruction. Training appointments may take longer than a typical service. Staff confirm the planned length, especially for customized full-body sessions.

Can I bring a companion or request accessibility assistance?

Tell staff in advance about a companion, accessibility, communication, positioning or privacy need. They will explain available arrangements and treatment-room restrictions. Availability of a specific accommodation must be confirmed.

Can I request a particular student, supervisor or chaperone?

You may ask before booking. Staff will discuss preferences and availability; a particular person or arrangement is not guaranteed. You can decline or stop treatment if you are not comfortable.

How do I reschedule, cancel or reach a person?

Contact GCI at (682) 410-7038 or info@globalcareerinstitute.org. Mention your model appointment and request a team response. Staff confirm any applicable booking terms and changes.

Consultation and suitability

Is a consultation and screening required?

Yes. The treatment team reviews suitability and explains the proposed areas, device, expected benefits, risks and alternatives before treatment. Medical history and medication review belong in the clinical screening process, not social media or the inquiry form.

Can people with dark skin or different skin tones participate?

People across skin tones are welcome to inquire. Treatment suitability depends on an individual assessment and the device available. The team must discuss its experience, settings and risks for your skin; an automated reply cannot clear you.

Will laser work on blonde, red, gray or white hair?

Response varies with hair characteristics and the device. Ask the team to assess your hair and explain realistic expectations; no hair color or person is promised a result.

Can someone under 18 participate?

Contact GCI before applying for a minor. Staff must confirm whether the program accepts that age group and what parent or guardian consent and attendance are required. An online adult signature must not substitute for the clinic’s minor-consent process.

Can I participate if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

Tell the treatment team privately before booking. They will review the clinic’s protocol and appropriate clinical advice. Do not rely on an automated answer for approval or send personal health details in social messages.

What if I take medication or recently used isotretinoin?

Disclose all prescription, over-the-counter and topical products during clinical screening. The team and your prescriber determine any precautions or timing. Do not stop or change medication because of a website or automated message.

What if I have a skin condition, diabetes, scarring or a history of cold sores?

Ask for individual clinical screening before booking. The team needs to assess relevant history and the treatment area privately; no automatic eligibility decision is made here.

What if I recently tanned, had sunburn, used self-tanner or had another cosmetic treatment?

Tell the team before your appointment so it can decide whether treatment should be delayed or your plan adjusted. Follow the timing and preparation instructions it gives you.

Can you treat over tattoos, permanent makeup, moles or irritated skin?

Point out tattoos, permanent makeup, skin markings, irritation and recent changes during consultation. The team decides which areas must be avoided or protected under its device and safety protocol.

Which laser do you use, and do I need a patch test?

Ask staff to identify the device, explain its suitability for you and confirm whether a test spot or separate assessment is needed. The program does not promise a particular device or same-day treatment before screening.

Getting ready

Should I shave, wax, pluck or use hair-removal cream first?

Ask the team for the exact hair-removal instructions and timing for your area. Tell staff what you have used recently. Do not assume the same preparation applies to every person or device.

Should I avoid sun exposure or tanning?

Discuss recent sun exposure and tanning before treatment. Protect your skin and follow the team’s specific instructions about tanning, self-tanner and sun protection before and after sessions.

Can I wear deodorant, makeup, lotion or skincare products?

Ask what must be removed from your treatment area and which products to avoid or bring. Follow the instructions provided for your planned session rather than guessing.

What should I wear or bring?

Ask staff about suitable clothing, arrival time and any documents needed. Choose clothing that allows the agreed area to be accessed comfortably. Do not upload identification or intimate images to the inquiry form or social inbox.

Can I use numbing cream or take pain medicine beforehand?

Do not self-apply a numbing product or change medication for the session without advice from the treating team and, when needed, your prescriber. Ask staff about approved comfort measures.

What if my health, medication or skin changes after I complete consent?

Tell staff before treatment and request a fresh assessment when appropriate. A previously submitted form does not automatically authorize treatment after a change in circumstances.

During treatment and results

What does treatment feel like?

You may feel brief warmth or a snapping sensation. Tell the operator and supervisor if you are uncomfortable. You may ask to pause or stop; comfort and skin response vary.

Will everyone wear protective eyewear?

Everyone in the laser treatment room must use the protective eyewear specified for the procedure and device. Follow staff instructions; ordinary sunglasses are not a substitute.

How is privacy handled for intimate treatment areas?

Discuss agreed boundaries, draping, who will be present, supervision, photography and any chaperone preference before consent. Ask staff to explain the arrangements; do not send intimate photos in direct messages.

Is laser hair removal permanent or guaranteed?

Results and durability vary. Multiple sessions and maintenance may be needed. Ask for realistic expectations for your skin, hair and area; the program guarantees neither a specific result nor permanent complete hair removal.

How many sessions will I need and how far apart are they?

The team recommends a plan and timing after assessing your skin, hair, areas and response. A single model appointment does not promise a complete course or future appointment availability.

Can I stop treatment or decline an area?

Yes. You can ask questions, decline a proposed area or ask treatment to stop. Discuss comfort concerns promptly. Staff explain separately how a change affects the session price or booking terms.

Aftercare and concerns

What are the possible side effects and risks?

Discomfort, redness or swelling can occur. Risks also include burns, blisters, pigment changes, scarring, infection, eye injury or incomplete hair reduction. Your team explains individual and device-specific risks before consent.

What aftercare should I follow?

Follow the written instructions given for your treatment and skin response. Ask about sun protection, products, hair removal, heat and exercise, and how to contact the team. Online general guidance does not replace your treatment instructions.

Can I work, exercise, swim, use a sauna or take a hot shower afterward?

Ask the team for your specific activity restrictions and when to resume each activity. Do not assume that having little visible redness means every activity or product is suitable.

What if I have blistering, a burn, severe pain or worsening symptoms?

Contact the treating team promptly for clinical advice. For severe or rapidly worsening symptoms, eye injury, trouble breathing or another emergency, seek urgent medical care immediately. Do not wait for a social-media response.

What if I am unhappy with the result or want to complain?

Contact GCI directly and ask to speak with the supervising or treating team. Share clinical details through the channel staff arranges, not a public comment. Staff must review the concern and explain next steps; an automated reply cannot resolve clinical complaints.

Still have a question? Contact (682) 410-7038 or info@globalcareerinstitute.org. Please keep medical details and intimate photographs out of social messages.
