Administrative and Application Processing Fee Policy
Last updated: September 14, 2026
The administrative and application processing fee is due when an applicant completes the application process.
Purpose of the Fee
The fee supports application review, records administration, and required background screening activities. It is separate from tuition and other program charges.
Refund Status
The fee is non-refundable except when a refund is required by applicable law or GCI’s governing Cancellation and Refund Policy. This qualification includes the 72-hour cancellation right and any full-refund circumstance that applies to the student’s program.
Admission Is Not Guaranteed
Payment of the fee allows GCI to begin admissions review and related administrative work. It does not guarantee acceptance, enrollment, course access, certification, licensure, job placement, or employment.
Enrollment Activation Timeline
After the signed enrollment agreement, required payment, and admissions clearance are complete, GCI generally schedules course access for the following business week and after the 72-hour cancellation period has expired. GCI does not normally issue a non-reusable student user ID before those steps are complete. This administrative scheduling practice does not create a separate refund deadline and does not waive, shorten, or replace any cancellation or refund right provided by this policy or applicable law.
Duplicate or Incomplete Applications
Applicants should submit one complete application and verify their contact information before paying. If GCI requests additional information, the applicant should provide it promptly so the review can continue. Any question about a duplicate payment should be sent to Admissions for review under the governing policy.
