Who Can Apply

Community organizations, healthcare professionals, employers, alumni, student family members, and other adults who can responsibly connect prospective students with GCI may apply. GCI reviews and approves each partner before payment eligibility begins.

Partner Responsibilities

  • Use current GCI-approved program information.
  • Do not promise admission, financial aid, certification, licensure, employment, salary, or any particular outcome.
  • Do not collect student payments or make admissions decisions.
  • Complete Form W-9 and GCI’s secure nonemployee payee onboarding before receiving payment.

Payment Details

The referral payment is 7.5 percent of the total course tuition shown in the student’s enrollment agreement. Separate application, administrative, state, examination, licensing, supply, and similar fees are excluded. Installment arrangements do not change the one-time referral payment amount.

Referral Partners are independent nonemployee payees. GCI may issue Form 1099-NEC or another applicable information return when required.
